The awning is attached to the Thule load bars and not the canopy. Used the Tepui brackets and drilled through the bars to bolt them down. I’m swapping the roof racks out soon and planning out the configuration but for know it’s solid

4 of those bolts I assume? Then did you just match some nuts from a hardware store?

Congrats, you'll love it. Rail slide is a fantastic choice for an upgrade

I've had mine for about 3/4 months now and can't say there's much to complain about. I'm getting a little water from the positive pressure vent and going to seal it up when I have a couple nice days to let it dry. Other than that it's been nothing but A+. The only accessories I purchased were the lion boxes and rail slider which I highly recommend if you're doing a lot of camping or outdoor activities. I purchased and installed my own roof tracks and built my own platform rack out of aluminum extrusion to save some money for other truck mods. I do like the idea of a half cabinet and in hindsight would have purchased it with the rail system since I didn't realize the full rail isn't compatible with the cabinet rail. Other than that I think it's been the best purchase I've made other than the truck itself. Tom from AR has been amazing and responds to any and all questions so overall experience with the purchase and canopy has been great. Hope that helps, here if you have any specific questions...be well.

I love my RLD! Mounted the recovery boards inside of door using fishing magnets. One on each door. Went wheeling and they did not fall off.

I'm looking at the RLD USA site and one of the three standard colour options is medium gray with charcoal doors. I have a cement gray DCLB and would rather spend money on the lion box rail slider than paint. Anyone get one with that colour scheme that could send me a picture? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that write up. Great looking truck. Not sure if you had a chance to look at the RSI cap and how that modular design compares to the RLD, would be interesting in your take. Are you still loving the double doors on the long box? I am looking to get one and debating between Alu-cab (which you say is not as good a design), the RSI and the RLD. I am also in Alberta, Canada and the RSI is now available at Cap-it, but I don't think there are Alu-cab or RLD dealers in Canada? I like the RLD doors going the full length on the long box while the RSI uses the shortbox wing doors. Thanks in advance for your help. Mark
