    Thinking about getting one of these or a Alu-Cab. Could you please take some pictures and share them? Pics of the inside, the side door hinges and locks. If you got doors and the gap between the cab and the front of the canopy. Did you go with a roof rack ?

    I talked to a guy that ordered one the other day. He said it was a 8 to 12 week plus wait give or take.

    Well the rack photo was very helpful as I thought they came with tracks or a way to mount a rack to it. And just curious is there a gasket or something to cover the gap on the side doors when you open the doors to prevent rain/water from falling inside the cap when the side doors are open?

    there is no rain gutter or gasket to cover the gap between the doors and the canopy. The tracks did not come with it but RLD does have a rack and an RTT adapter, both directly bolt to the canopy through pre-drilled holes. The pre-drilled holes are covered from the factory.

    Yeah I was going to go with one of these until i found out for a long bed the cap has 2 50/50 doors instead of one door on the sides. If you google it you will see what i mean.

    I don’t know why they would do this; all the added cost for hardware and manufacturing; I would think there would be more strength in the top though with the added support between the 2 openings

    Yes Sir.. I went and looked at some Alu-Cabs yesterday and they are rated at 900LBS up top and only way in at 130 pounds total weight. I really love the the streamline look and the color match of the RLD. Just cant get over the look of the 2 doors on the side. Also the RLD I believe the up top max weight is 650 to 700 LBS and 130 to 140 pounds total weight.
