    The one I had made was Aluminized stainless exhaust tube. The muffler shop dude pulled it out of his scrap bin,,throwaway shit. About $10 once I picked up some good exhaust studs. Was doing the mini header deal at the time and figured while I was freeing up some flow on the exhaust side,,lets do the same for the intake. Just kinda the way I roll. Pretty good payoff for doing both at the same time. Not huge,,but better. Exhaust Stainless is good,,and the albeit thin alum coating does it's thing. Don't have to use krylon,,could splatter it with some thick spray of choice or bed liner roll-on if your worried over heat. I grabbed mine after a long summer idle,,and could hold onto it no prob. It's some heavy wall diesel tube.
