    Hello,

I picked up my second Tacoma last spring and had been too busy to post anything since. I have been driving a 1997 V6 4X4 5spd Extra cab for the past 11 years. Approaching 250K, I decided I was ready to upgrade.

I wanted the manual, V6 and 6ft bed, also wanted to have a locker available so I decided on a TRD O/R. Found the ideal one a couple hours away. Super White AC TRD O/R with the 6 Spd. Dealer had it delivered from Arizona (no rust!) and only 90K mi.

The first Tacoma was a blast, picked it up with 130K mi, topper, mint condition. Drove the crap out of it, used it for work, play, road trips, towing everything I own across the country, love the truck. Mild lift on 32X11.50. Only needed regular maint. minus it blew a plug twice! Heli coiled.

I really like the increase in power and comfort of the 2008. Have been plotting the upgrade path, deciding on how deep I want to go...

Well, there is some questions I have but I'll post else where. Glad to have a community like this available.

What, like supercharger deep? Or 35s? Both?! We'll see. Sorting out some issues and maintenance items first.
Then it'l be time for some suspension work, this one seems tired. Came with some brand new Cooper Discoverer AT3s 265/75/16. I'll wait till they're spent to replace them.
I now have a 800 Can Am Outlander for getting reckless off road. This may keep me from taking the Taco too far. I now have a fear when wheeling a thousand miles from and am counting on the truck to get me back. This did not exist 5 years ago?!
