    Aloha, All. Thought I would join in. Just got my new Gen 3 Tacoma TRD Offroad in quicksand. Gave my 2012 Blue Metallic TRD Offroad to my daughter for her wedding present, and still have my old 2000 4wd Tundra as a farm truck to work chores with the John Deere 5300 4wd. These Toyotas work pretty well out here, where every journey is offroad, and the trip to town has many miles of unpaved or deeply potholed single lane after making it down the half mile driveway, and where the rivers run and boulders wash or fall from cliffs very regularly.

    Unfortunately, quite a few rental cars these days. Also small tourist buses. With the increase of mass-market tourism from China, there are a lot of confused folks out there. "Tour Leaders" driving loaded vans who appear to have never driven before, certainly not on narrow single lane steep mud with sharp rock on both sides. Many don't speak any english to communicate when they get stuck. Not as bad as Palau, but keeps us off the road in midday rush hour.
