OK here goes. 1st I didn't go for any fancy installation. Just simple, clean and hidden for the most part. Good quality equipment. And like I said I have not done any sound deadening yet. "No pic of the HU as you already have that" Also I didn't go after JBL speakers just because Toyota uses them it just worked out that way.
(JBL emblems on door panels "bottom" Ebay or Amazon ??? Cant remember $8-$9 (I think)

Pic of the boxes everything came in.
    Boxes.jpg

    Front door Speakers
JBL GTO 939 Premium's. I had Kenwood's and Pioneer's. Done the research and these popped up'ed almost everywhere as "Top Rated" These by far sound the best. Remove the factory speaker "paper" from the actual speaker housing and you can use it as a mounting bracket! And install in place of the factory 6X9. Worked on all 3 Brands.
Tweeters are a pair of JBL GTO 19T's. Just remove the factory Tweeter, use a hole saw (drill) to cut a hole in the factory tweeter grill and install with the supplied nut on the back. Super easy . These also swivel in any direction. Takes longer to get the door panel off than to do the installation.

    Front Door.jpg

    Rear doors
JBL GTO 629's Premiums. Simply bolts in place of stock speaker.
Tweeter same as front door. Same installation but in the door panel itself.

    Back Door.jpg

    Sub
is a Kicker Comp RT 12". Not my "Top Pick" but got a good deal and does sound descent and fits behind my back seat with only removing the plastic tray / Liner. I do plan on adding sound deadening / Insulation here.

    Sub.jpg

Amps Rockford Fosgate Punch P400's (2) "one under each front seat" One is a P400/4 4-Channel driving the door speakers and the Tweeters. And one P400/1 Single Channel driving the Sub. Both are rated at 400 watt respectfully. But as Rockford never overrates there amps. They send a Birth Certificate "test sheet" with all new amps. Both tested at over 600 watts.

Looks good, I will look into those as it sounds like a simple installation and looks really nice. Thanks again for the advice and help

I just installed the same unit in my truck last weekend. Makes a huge difference, as i had already added and amp, and replaced all my speakers back in August. i just hated the way factory HU sounded with all my upgraded equipment.

now im just battling neatly placing all the wiring back in the dash.

Did you retain steering wheel controls for both sides? (left side for the radio / right side for handsfree phone use)

I did not keep steering wheel controls since I never used them. My truck only had the controls for volume on the left side so I didn't see it cost effective for price difference in the harness.

I mounted it above the left side windshield pillar. It just pops off after you take out the grab bar bolts. But, there is an airbag in there, so be aware of that

Does all your music upload to it? So you can access all your playlists from the screen?

Is that a metra dash kit? I have the black kit and the damn thing won't clip it at the top so it just kind of rattles. I pulled it out and am running without it right now hoping Metra will send me a new one that isn't defective...
