    I had read some where about breaking in your leaf spring, anyone know ow long or how many miles the break in period is? I have 2" Alcan 8 leaf pack.

    Other than retorquing the u-bolts after a few hundred miles, there is no break-in for leaf springs. They will settle down in height a bit over time, but there is no special treatment required.

    I've heard of guys loading up their trucks to "break-in" new springs right off the bat but there really isn't any need to. I just put stock aftermarket replacements in mine from General Spring and after a few hundred miles the ride height hasn't changed at all.
