Okay so I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and my leaf springs are on recall it's only got Forty-Eight Thousand Miles now. So my question is what's a decent brand leaf springs? I'm active duty Military and I'm transferring soon and unfortunately I don't think Toyota dealership is going to town be able to work with the autoshop here in Kodiak alaska soon enough to get my parts and fix them before I move which means I'll have to do it myself out of pocket or risk breaking something and not reporting to my new unit on time. Oh and the clock spring just shorted out too plus you know all the batteries in my TPMS sensors are f****** dead. Anyway just ranting and trying to figure out which leaf springs I should expediate here. Hopefully there's some what tougher than the original ones and if I have to all throw on shocks in the front and lift the whole thing to get it done in time I will, I just need some solid brand recommendations.

Any dealer can do the recall. The mothership is paying no matter which Toyota dealer does it.

Yeah but it's 2016 and Toyota just told me that they're on backorder and they can't get them meanwhile I'm looking at older post from 2011 that said they got them in 3 days

+1. This is a good choice if you're looking for "custom" leafs.

If your're looking for something more "off the shelf," many of us are happy with OME Dakar Leafs, which are available from a number of different vendors.

I'm very happy with my AllPro leaf springs. I went with the standard pack, not the expo pack, and they're very comfortable and work well offroad. They are a 3" lift leaf pack though so on a stock front end might look strange.
I do have a set of the recall leafs sitting and collecting dust, I had them installed and drove on them for less than a month before putting my new leaf pack in so they're essentially new. I haven't a clue what it would cost to ship to AK but if it's worth while I'd be happy to work with you. New u bolts, bump stops, the whole 9 yards and all essentially brand new. But they're still Toyota so they're still weak if you are looking to upgrade.
I've heard wheelers makes a good HD pack but haven't done any research into them myself.
