So I just got a '17 OR AC, and loaded it up for the first out of town painting job I've had since I bought the truck.
Looks like the load may be a little much for the stock suspension. Rear leaf springs are pretty much flat. I don't know the total weight of the load, but this will be typical for me in the future, so I think I'm gonna need and upgrade ASAP.
Don't know much on this topic, so thought I would ask you guys for suggestions.
I've read on here that Old Man Emu is a brand people seem to like. What you guys think?
    Pic for reference loaded down.

Old Man Emu springs are gonna lift the back end pretty significantly, so you'll want to lift the front as well if you go that route. Alternatives would be something like Ride-Rite airbags or Hellwig helper springs.

I have 2009 AC OR and went with HD leaf springs. OEM are rated for 1200 LBS. HD leafs springs are 1600 LBS.

Is that from General Spring? I'm new to the whole truck accessory market and the abbreviations miss me sometimes.
If it is, it looks like they don't have any for 2017s yet.

I figured I would end up having to lift all around. I'll do what I gotta do to get the proper set up. I guess I should figure how much the typical full load weighs before I decide on something too. I have a shell on there now too, and Prinsu racks and some type of rear swingout bumper is likely in the future too.
    More weight!
