I just installed some new PIAA 5354 Driving lights in my fog holes and wired them all up and now I have some bothersome static on my FM stations on the radio, seems like the weaker FM stations get really affected the stronger stations get less. I sure its the lights, I have tried different Grounding configurations but none help, also called PIAATech service they were supposed to Email some instructions about buying a Radio Shack resistor/capacitor for $5 bucks or so but I never got their Email and think they are BS-ing me because they said only a very few people have actually had the problem I have supposedly they have a write up on buying this part from Radio shack to remedy the static problem. Any others having radio static problems using led lights and if there is a real cure for it.

I used the supplied harness from PIAA since my 2013 had no prewired harness from the factory there are 2 grounds one for the lights I grounded it to the battery and 1 for the switch initially I grounded it to a 10mm bolt in the fuse area in the cab and used a tap a circuit for the hot line in the 7.5 amp ACC slot. I have since tried grounding both grds to the batt. no improvement then grounded the switch grd. to the 10mm bolt next to the battery none worked to stop the static. Anyone have any luck using those ferrite couplers,if so how do you hook them up. this kit http://www.piaa.com/store/p/787-PIAA-Toyota-Tacoma-2012-VSK-LP530-3-5-LED-Driving-Light-Kit.aspx
