I think it still needs to come forward more. Make it flush with the front of the bed and the latch for your door is adjustable so just mess with that to get your door closable.

I've tried to search how to adjust the latch but couldn't find any videos, I'm a visual learner lol. If its any farther forward the bottom seal of the door hits the tail gate and latch won't catch and close.

I see you're in Tacoma, I'm over in the Yakima area and had this installed down in Kennewick.

I think I got it. I don't know if that leer dealer hasn't worked on many Tacoma's or he just had an off day.

The door latches should be adjusted so that there is even compression of the weatherstrip that the door (glass) presses against.

After that, you should aim for an even seal of the door weatherstrip that seals against the tailgate.

This looks good. Did you have to beef up the rear suspension at all?

You don't need it for light load, unless you always carry heavy load in the bed then you will have to beef it up. Such as construction tools, tent, etc... whatever you are carry something heavy that makes the truck sag.

Thanks. I just don't want to lose much or any rake by adding a cap. My boss has a newer Tundra with cap and the rear sags quite a bit.
