Nice! Always climbing in and out of even my short bed I regret not getting the windoors.

You can always swap them out. I asked the guy when I was there getting my Yakima tracks installed. My buddy wanted to know how much to swap them out. It's 600 to do both sides he said for material and labor. It's 150 per side for material. It looks pretty easy to do it yourself and save some dough on labor. He said when you order them new it's only a 100 dollar difference. But then again your paying 2 grand for a new leer top. I scored mine with the windoors for 350 on the list. Just be patient. Like others said too, I would never get another one without the windoors. Being an electrician I use these things every day working out of my truck, even when not working they're used daily.

Windoors are Nice.I had to go sliders for my dogs and I removed the screen( easy to reinstall). In North Carolina I only see Leer or ARE shells? For those on budgets I was quoted $1049 out the door for a Leer Legend series shell which looks exactly like the 100R. Dealers will not mention these Legend series nor will they be on website! Not much profit room in a $1000 new color match shell I would imagine?

What's the difference from the 100R and the Legend?

Warranty! 100R lifetime paint warranty and Legend is 3 yrs paint. Visually I can tell no difference in them?

How do you like the 122? If by chance do you have the height from the middle of the bed to the top of the inside of the cap? I'm debating on going with a 180 or 122 or even maybe some sort of commercial cap. Just doing some research.

My truck came with a shell At first I didn’t like the old man shell, but it grew on me and I never got around to selling it. Maybe I’m getting old. I put 2% tint on mine it’s great for parking on the beach and laying in the back stays nice and cool

Its about 43.5". I couldn't measure from exactly the middle, so it might be another half inch-ish. My sleeping platform and a bunch of other stuff was in the way. Normally I could work around that easily, but I got pretty stuck out on a drive today with the little lady, and had to throw all the gear in the back pell-mell to get her to her baby shower on time. We're having a little girl in the next couple weeks, but she really wanted to go wheeling a little today. Got high centered in a frozen water hole.

Just picked up this ARE shell two days ago! Built in 2018 and Line X coating from the factory, carpeted roof, and windows with optional screens.. I was looking for a matching Metallic Nautical Blue, but I actually like this better. Not a friggin scratch on her. From PreRunner to 3Runner.

Also- I’ll ask: What kind of roof rack would you guys suggest to get to match the lines of my OEM best? The previous owner took whatever was on here Off, and filled the holes (very expertly I might add). I’d like to continue the lines down the top of the truck.

Leer cap with ‘windoors’ i scored off Craigslist for way less than it should have been. I wish it was one of the higher roof / riser models but the price was right. It came with the rack tracks installed and I added the Yakima footpads and towers. The cross bars are just 6’ steel pipe I painted. I miss having the truck bed functionality sometimes but I love this setup more.FF20C08E-E312-4A10-89B2-C1F0F91A3985.jpg 93D90537-5ED6-4C55-98F7-9702C2817974.jpg 34685FC7-3E16-4C26-AEF9-C36388AC971B.jpg
