    :confused: the start page?... not sure, ..all I know is that I went from winxp to win8.1, and i'm happy w/ the fresh look, better performance, and the fact that much of the familiarity w/ the desktop and such is retained...

    I don't want to jack your thread, ...was just curious whether folks who were critical of it had spent some time configuring it to their liking?..
