I for a second was wondering if that turbo setup would fit on the 3.5 V6 in the Tacoma but I forgot Toyota has the ECM locked there wouldn't be a way to reprogram the computer to run with the turbo setup

This is why people complain about power. Flat road, no wind, couldn't even hold 5th gear and was cruising in 4th. Now granted, it was cold and around 8k feet. But my '15 4.0 had no trouble on the same road with similar conditions.

1st, 5th and 6th are geared wrong. not enough hp low end to maintain speed... The pairing of this engine and the incorrect gearing is a joke. I have never had a car/truck that couldnt maintain speed on a flat road without having to downshift/give it so much gas that you get the mpg that you would while towing.

if you dont have a tail wind and going down hill this truck sucks at highway speeds. and in the city it is just unusable because all the hp/torque is made at 5000 rpm.
