So I have a 2012 DCSB Automatic V6 have had it about a month and the first thing I did was put on some new wheels and tires and a 1.5" leveling kit. Well that wasn't doing it for me so I went ahead and put on the Bilstien 5100's set at 2.5" a 1.5" add a leaf in the rear and some LR UCA's. Changed out the Wheels to the MB Torques and kept the 265/75/16 Cooper ATP's So far I am pretty pleased with the results. So the first picture is bone stock right off the lot, second picture is the first set of wheels and the 1.5 leveling kit and the last two are the final mods. I would highly recommend putting on UCA's if you go above 1.5" I had a buddy align it for me and the alignment came out perfect and it drives like factory. Only problem is the take off shudder and the vibe at 20mph but that was doing it as soon as I drove it off the lot now it just a little more noticeable so I will do some investigating on the drive line angles and shim appropriately. One other thing my wife who is only 5' tall already was complaining about being able to get in it so was thinking about getting some kind of nerf bar but the only one I saw that I liked I don't know the name of will have to do some searching or anybody that reads this have any suggestions for a vertically challenged women it would be appreciated and I know before anybody says anything what is she doing out of the kitchen well I asked her that and was promptly punched me in the junk and she told me to be careful or I would wake up with my sack stapled to my forehead, to which I replied I don't think that is possible and she said she would make it possible and I have to sleep sometime so she wins I will find a way for her to access my truck easier. Thank goodness she has a sense of humor.:D

Looks nice man, other than the chrome wheels. But it's your truck and all that matters is if you like it.

Be smart and don't test her. Angry women lose the ability to reason. Good job on the truck. How does the truck ride with the new lift?

Normally not a fan of chrome...but those look good! tons better than those black ones with the silver caps. As for steps, look into nfabs!

yeah, watch out for the short ones, they're a little crazy :D

When the time comes I'll need to get one of those hydraulic steps that folds down when the door opens... I don't want to see it unless its being used.

nice truck, the chrome looks good

how is your steering with those UCAs, big improvement?

You can't tell the difference from factory with the UCA's. I had an 05 I did the same lift and didn't put the UCA's on and it drove like poo-poo.
@fractured: Tuff Country makes a 1.5" spacer to level it out.
Truck rides really smooth not harsh like some have reported the only annoyance is the shudder at take off but did some measuring and ordered some 3 degree shims think that will take care of the problem. And thanks for all the compliments guys appreciate it.

Just an FYI, those wheels are not chrome guys, they are silver machined. I have a friend who has them and they are nice.

I put N-Fabs on mine for my vertically challenged wife. She hasn't complained since. I've got a similar setup to yours except my tires are 285's. Love your chrome wheels ;) Black and chrome is an awesome combo!

First off you're last pics the truck looks KILLER!! LOVE that stance! If i used the same parts would i be able to achieve the same look on my 2011 DCSB?
All you used was the Bilstein 5100's up front? What AAL in the rear? Did you have to put anything else in the rear? And finally if ya don't mind me asking what did this setup cost you?

As far as steps go check out Avid offroad. Brandon is very helpful even though i havent bought anything from him yet he still answers all my questions. Plus his products are MADE IN THE USA!!

Did you re-use the stock bushing and washer on the shocks?
