    Hey guys,
    A couple days ago I started my lift for my truck. I installed with my buddy 5100's in the front set at .85 with eibach coils. I have a rear toytech 1.5 AAL and 5100's yet to be installed. I have been really hesitant to mess around with my leaf pack.

    After driving around for a couple days with my alignment way out of whack, I finally made it to the shop. My question is what are the limits of the caster? Also, I am not really sure what caster represents. I researched it a bit but I guess it just has something to do with the steering angles?

    A quick review on the eibach coils:
    They certainly greatly improve the ride quality of the truck. I was actually very impressed. I have rode in many stock tacomas and my buddies truck with stock coils set at 2.5 on his 5100's. Its a big improvement over both. I may have lost a little cornering ability. My inside rear tire has taken habit to squealing alot taking some turns that normally were completely mellow before, although the turns feel fine.

    Here are some photos. Before vs after. It looks a little goofy because it is a little nose high at the moment. I am going to tackle the rear next weekend when I have the proper tools. Also the before may be a bad representation because I only have pictures of my truck loaded, lol.

    Another before (loaded with alot of oak and on a hill) and after in my little parking spot.

    You'll have better luck in the Suspension forum. Here's a great thread from there. I'll be ordering Light Racing UCAs to avoid problems like yours.

    I'd say your numbers are decent, see if you can get your camber down closer to 0

    Your right, Maybe a mod will move this thread over. Also the guy in the thread you put in there had too little caster. I am right at the limit of too much on one side. I was pretty satisfied with my camber settings considering I didn't get UCA's.

    Once you lift the rear you will need another alignment

    "[T]his upper control arm provides an additional ±2 degree of caster and 0 degree to +5 degree of camber change."

    If anyone takes a look at LR UCAs, bear in mind that there were a few problems with early ones, but the issues has since been addressed. If you see a complaint, you might ask about the ship date.

    So I took it back in after I did the rear lift and the springs had a chance to break in and I am officially easily within limits all the way around.
