Could you swap for a longer bolt and throw some spacers in there?

yes but then ill have a spare time job trying to figure out how to get spacers that look good (wont happen).

these PIAA lights are absolute crap anyway. wtf is up with ppl recommending them? $200 for this? i had to disassemble them to turn them upside down, per instructions. the chinese pot metal they use is so cheap, the screws cannot even be retightened, the thread holes just sheer and spin with almost no pressure applied.

Get a couple of Rod Couplings for whatever thread size your using. They come in Hex and Round (harder to find). Short Bolt thru Light Bar Tab from the Top into Coupling, Short Bolt thru Light Base/Bracket into Bottom of Coupling. There Ya Go. They can be found in Stainless Steel, Plated, and there's probably other Variations. If the large chains don't have 'em, Try Electrical or Plumbing Supply or the Ol' Mom & Pop Hardware Store.

Edit: Washers + Lock Washer !!!

you could turn the lights backward so they face the bumper.

realistically, the light tabs should be on the front, i dont think many lights will fit like the piaa's didn't. did you try them mounted on the top, just to see if they fit? Just get some hellas at walmart and do the spacer like suggested. it wont look too bad, and you dont have many options i wouldn't think.

i guess ill go ahead and get the lightforce 140 lance lights? i dont see any other option really. i know some of the hellas are supposed to fit. but after some research, they are not meant to be mounted upside down and cannot be reversed. i think the clear lens would look best on my truck.

    thoughts

old thread by now.. but step up and be a baller.. get some lightforce 170 Lance HIDs.. thats my plan.
I have HID headlights and fog lights. Just installed a Grillecraft grille with Hella 700ffs behind it, soon to be converted to HID. Seems like Lightforce is one of the best brands out there, and I need them to be HID, so instead of converting, I'll just buy the real deal from the get go.

Nice to know that TRD skids work with these light bars. Do you have to make any changes to the skid? I might get one myself when I order sliders if they are perfectly compatible.

Mine came with the truck... I'm just looking for something that is compatible as opposed to no skid at all.

I have a pair of Hella 500s, and I'd get a better set. 55W incandescent light isn't much more noticable over headlights; my high beams are good enough without the minor contribution of the 500s. Get 85W or higher if you stick with incan; 35 or 55W are OK if you go to HID.
