Though I like the SSO look, it sticks out as far if not farther than the current fat lip.

Can you get actual measurements on how much this sticks out from the grille? Does it stick out as much as the factory fat lip or does it actually stick out less? If less then the cost difference will be worth it.

Note: I have very tight tolerances in my garage and I can't spare extra bumper room. Anything that reduces the fat lip is a win for me.

You going to do a walk around video or anything? Details in install? Cutting requires?

I took all your guys’ comments and basically voiced them over to Saints Offroad.

here’s some info to relay back to you guys.

    Tacoma alpha bumper features.

    Recessed fairlead

    3/16 steel shell
Combination of 3/16 and 1/4 steel for frame mounts and winch mount assembly.

    Ease of installation

If the shell gets damaged for whatever reason it’s easy to replace verse having to uninstall winch and completely swap bumpers.

Servicing the winch, light bar or anything else in the region is much easier with being able to remove just the shell.

    Increased approached angle

    Increased tire on rock clearance

    Retain factory fog lights

    Works with TRD skid plate

30” rigid SR series or Baja designs S8 light bar cut out.

    Structurally Reinforced d rings

    Made in Southern CA USA

Pricing and lead times still to be determined. $1299-$1499

I have a pretty busy work week, but when I get around to it, I’ll post a walk around video.

As for install, they used my truck to do the install documentation, so that will be out shortly once fully edited and the install how to is put together.

feel free to reach out to Saints Offroad for any other questions.
    Hit up Amy (626) 966-4500.

They probably don't have everything ironed out yet but would be nice to get weight. I may give them a call if I can make some time to break away.

Very cleanly done. Looks like what some other guy's have done on here with their SSO 1 + 2 welded together.

Damn, that looks really good! I already ordered my SSO but this looks like the best alternative. Look forward to some more installed photos.

SOS Front bumper with winch, Dual battery, RCI bed rack, Smitty built XL, 8112's in front, King 2.5 adj in back, Armor on the way.

I have tight garage too...barely fits. I may notch the drywall with my bumper if I need to. This thing is solid.

Do you have a side profile shot? It looks nice but not worth paying the same as I can get a CBI for. Only benefit is the wait time.

I'd like to see your front wheel well before and after shots so I can see how much suspension sag you have! What winch di you install? How do you like the Sidewinder?
