    2013 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4
6 years ago when I graduated from college as a Mechanical Engineer and got my big boy job there was one truck I wanted: 1st Generation Tacoma, Double Cab, 4x4. The hunt was beginning to look hopeless, but then it just dropped into my life! Since then, this Taco and I have adventured all over the western states (based out of the San Luis Obispo, CA area) and taken quite a few friends along for the ride.

The last two years I've had the opportunity to buy a bunch of tools and really dig into my Tacoma and learn as much as I can about it. I've pored through the Haynes guide and have had quite the adventure of it. I've been a bit of a lurker on the forums until now.

Life changes are coming and I'm ready to trade in my 1st Gen for a Tacoma with a 6 foot bed so that I can set it up and go overland. Looking forward to being a part of the community!

    Welcome to The Forum!

The best part of your thread is your "western states adventures" and "taken quite a few friends along". Good stuff!
