Hello well I just Registered and I'd like to introduce myself, Just earlier this month i brought a 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport in Magnetic Grey Metallic. So far within the amount of time i've had it i've done a bull bar, side bars, roof rack, tow hitch step bar, and wind deflectors, future intentions are to get HIDS for the headlights and foglights and replacement LED Plate Bulbs and Interior Bulb. I was wondering what opinions you guys have on these mods and opinions on what I should do, im new to owning a tacoma so not so familiar with the available mods, please give me ideas. Also bare in mind the truck will be daily driven from home to work and back home. On to the pictures.....

welcome to TW. Im new here too but contact csjumper for the leds, He has them for pretty much the whole truck.
as far as HID goes. get in the Kelvins of 4-5000, so it does not look too blue.

its a Tuff Bar 3'' black powdercoat bull bar, i like it but at the moment that i installed it it looked funny without the side bars, the sidebars made a huge difference imo...

    2014 TRD Sport Long Bed

Hello i am new to this forum as i am purchasing the same vehicle as you are, a 2014 toyota tacoma TRD long bed, (seems like yours is one from the pictures) I'm pretty excited and can't wait. I wanted to ask you about your nerf bars. Those are the exact ones i want. I did alot of reviews on nerf bars and on here some say that the bracket mounts are different with the long bed than the short bed. Could not see this being right considering the only difference between the long bed and short bed is simply that. So my question is where did you purchase the nerf bars? they seem like 4 inch oval nerf bars black coated which is exactly what i want!

Congrats and welcome to the club. Since this is gonna be your daily mode of transport from work-home and vice versa; have you ever considered adding the "Paint Protection Film" to your truck? It mainly covers the front section of your hood, fenders and side mirrors from road debris.

I am one week in to owning my first truck as well. I live in Colorado and finally passed on my Outback to my wife. My new Tacoma is very similar to yours (who started the thread) before the mods. I went with the matching A.R.E. CX cap with Thule bars as well as the OEM cab roof rack. I have a long kayak so I am hoping the extended rack will help transport.

I am definitely looking into bull and nerf bars and am loving all of the suggestions on the thread. Looking forward to this new hobby. Any other suggestions from the home team?

I just recently bought my sporntlongbed that I have wanted forever. I practically stole it because I work the a major dealership on Utah and we took it in for a killer price. It's Silver and I have don't complete int. work so it looks brand new and had it professionally detailed twice so it literally looks brand new. I like keeping things stock so I don't plan on put on any spiffy wheels or lifts or anything like that, but i do have acess to a powder coated and wanted some suggestions on colors. Does anyone have any pictures of their powder coated wheels on a silver long bed?

Also, I wanted to invite the rest of you to use me as a resource. I work for the LARRY H. MILLER group and we have some access to some pretty cool stuff. Big discounts on parts, services and of course any Toyota product as well as 21 other brands. Being a Toyota forum obviously that's the most important to you all. I wanted everyone to be aware of this because I like helping people as much as they can in the car/parts/service processes. I know it can be stressful but it's always better knowing and being able to trust them. If you have any questions or need anything please reply with an e-mail or message and I will do everything I can to help. I hope to develope some long lasting relationships. I know the Toyota world is full of passionate people and I look forward to helping in any way I can to fuel that passion.
