I have got 22-23 on flat @ 65-70 the closer I keep it to 65 the better, I have the OTT and it seems to help keep the constant down shifting to a minimum on inclines, I have a buddy with Colorado similar to mine he can manage 25 or better at times. These Toyota`s don`t do very well at mpg Im normally @ 19 for a combo. Its funny I had a old 1970 ranchero with sbf that did about the same with a carb. lol

In daily driving, I get 16-19 MPG. Not the best compared to my SAAB, but it comes with the territory.

My 19 mostly stock Sport got exactly 20.2 for the 42k miles I owned it before I traded up, I tracked every tank on fuely. Only addition that would have an effect on fuel is the tonneau cover. Definitely lean towards the more city heavy driving average, probably 60/40, so it would probably be capable of 21 or more average if I had drove more hwy.

My 22 is hitting almost identical.

The holden ute should have been available in the US. I would have ordered it black on black.

My truck is a SR with the 2.7L with 4x4. I have owned it for 18 months. My best fuel mpg 25.82, worst 18 mpg. currently averaging 23.4. A few things I have to say is that I drive on the highway coming home from work, the cruise control I dont use because every little incline it drops down a gear to maintain speed. Not using cruise it will remain in sixth gear. Also wind is a factor, a cross wind or head wind will effect your milage. On a good clear summer day with no wind I have averaged 23.5 mpg for my 25 mile trip home from work. I drive 284 miles a week just for work. a little over a half a tank of fuel, and the cruising at 67 mph in 6th gear at around 1800 rpms in over drive. i also run premium 90 octane non ethanol fuel. The truck runs better on premium, my mpg on 87 was about -3 mpg. hope this helps you out a lot depends on your driving habits, keep under 3,000 rpms when taking off helps with the milage. These trucks are good utilitarian vehicles, not made for speed but great point A to B vehicles... oh and by the way the bug deflector on my truck is useless. the windshield is a bug killer.

2017 double cab, V6, manual transmission. 100K Miles. When I doo mostly in town driving on a tank of fuel, I get 13 - 14 MPG. If I do mainly highway driving, I can get close to 17 MPG. I use the Fuelly app to track my service and fuel usage.

Similar configuration, slightly better city MPG at 13.5, but you are carrying more weight than mine.

I find I get the best mileage by taking my wife's 4runner and leaving the Taco home. Welcome to the forum! I'd say on average 18 to 21 with 265/75/16 All terrains and 14 to 17 with the 255/85/16 Falken Wildpeaks.

Engine, doors, bed length, lift, tires (and more), all figure into mileage so asking a generic question without matching those parameters to others having the same gives a wide range of answers.

I haven't had mine long, but have roughly the same truck you do. I drive VERY light on the throttle, trying to maximize my mileage. Mixed driving gives me 22 to 23 mpg. Haven't had any real opportunities to check it on a road trip.

    technically still can
    https://www.lefthandutes.com/

but they take a used/wrecked g8, order up a drivetrainless ute, then swap everything over to it. so you literally need to buy 2 cars to get 1.
