    Purchased my 2019 Tacoma a couple of weeks ago. This is my first Gen 3 Tacoma I’ve owned two Gen 1’s in the past and loved them. 1999 Gen 1 was my first vehicle.

    I am wanting to set this up for some awesome overlanding trips with my family (wife, 2 boys, one in the oven) I had a
    $151 4Door QAA is Compatible with 2016-2020 Toyota Tacoma 6 Piece Stainless Body Molding Insert Trim Kit, 1.5" Width MI16172
    4Door Jeep Wrangler before this and there was just not enough room.

    I plan on starting with bed rails and a RTT to get going quick. After that it will probably be a long time to upgrade the rest like I want. I already have the list and do not know where everyone else comes up with all the money for it lol.

    Any things I need to know I’m welcome for tips and tricks with the new truck. I’m used to old beaters.

    Mine is a 2019 TRD Off-Road, barcelona red, 4Door, short bed.

    I was shocked by how good that color looks in person. Photos never capture it.
    Get a bed mat.
    Get Weathertechs or similiar.
    Paint your front tow hook.
    Debadge or black out badges.
    Hondo Garage radio knobs. You can thank me later.

    Even better. But a word of advice, don't keep bringing it up in other threads, some people here will give you slack and call you a "vegan of TW".

    Congratulations on the new truck. Word of advice, photograph your truck parked correctly between the lines. You will be called out. There is even an a**hole parking thread on TW.

    My fault on the double parking. This was not even 10 minutes after I bought it so I was not risking it and wanted a good photo.

    I like manual myself but I live in SoCal where traffic is horrible so I went with an auto with my 2nd gen. :D I would recommend adding sliders to your list as well unless you don't plan on doing any serious offroading.
