Hello, my is Paolo and i recently bought a 2016 TRD Offroad in white! Its my very first Tacoma and my first time owning a truck!

Ive been roaming the forums for about a few weeks now and Ive learned a lot lol. I guess the 2016 tacomas have a lot of problems off the lot but I guess I'm the one of the lucky fews that doesn't have these problems!

I've seen multiple people plasti dipping their emblems so I decided to give it a try. After pics later! So far I definitely dig the the bladed out emblems over the chrome.

Also thinking of ordering a plain mesh grill from customcargrills.com with a trd badge.

So after driving the truck for a while Ive noticed some problems that other owners on here are experiencing. (Im all paranoid after reading other peoples post on here)

    -(from dealer to present)
Ive had the delay from shifting to Park to Reverse or Reverse to Park (cold start or not). Thought at first that it was normal but after searching up on the forums I guess this is a symptom for transmission problem. :( I also noticed that when I'm driving without my AC on, shifting feels a little harsh. I might have to have the dealer check my transmission.

    -(August 24, 2016)
I also noticed the "howling" sound while driving about 30-40 mph on a windy day. (only heard it once on that day when it was fairly windy but I'm now paranoid and i feel like i hear it all the time even when I'm in park....)

    -(August 28, 2016)
I drove for longer today about 100 miles total running errands, more than my normal commute from work (about 20 miles round trip work commute), longest travel the car has seen ever seen I bought it and truck had the typical harsh shifting when the Ac is on but on the way back the truck drove great without the AC on. I also noticed that when I was pulling in the garage, slight inclined I was waiting for the garage door to open and the truck stuttered when I stepped on the gas and the SLIP INDICATOR light flashed once or twice then went away. It only flashed for about a second then went away. I checked the owners manual and it says to see dealer immediately.

With that being said, Im going to set up a schedule and get my truck checked out. :bucket:

decided to add some 6k HIDs. Stock halogens dont even compare to the light out of these. I was gonna change the bulbs but since the taco comes with projector headlights I figured why not. The stock halogens were fine when it was dry at night but when its raining I can barely tell if I have headlights on or not. Ill have some more pictures in a bit.

Yesterday I bought some running boards for my taco for $150 installed! I saw an ad on Craigslist, apparently he works at an auto body shop here in portland and another 3rd Gen bought an amp research power step and didn't want the oem ones.

Not bad for almost half off :)
