    I recently purchased a 1999 Tacoma 2WD, 2.4 L with 89000 miles as a daily driver. I appear to be averaging 28 mpg which is way better than my 2012 Tundra, 5.7 L not to mention easier to find a parking space. My previous Toyota’s: 74 FJ 40, 87 Celica, 89 4x4 HiLux, 2001 Prerunner, and currently a 2012 Tundra.
    I am not a huge poster, but just browsing threads for information.
