Hello TW Members.. I have been lurking here a while and just joined. I am a NC Native and USN Veteran. Just picked up a 2008 Tacoma DC, 4x4 Off-Road in Black Sand Pearl w/15K miles.

Over the Summer, I made the mistake of selling my 2006 Tacoma PreRunner Off-Road Access Cab with 26K miles. I was looking for an older p/u and scored a great deal on a 2006 Nissan Nismo Xtra Cab..........BIG MISTAKE! I sold it a month later and got another TACO.. Having owned multiple Nissan Trucks over the years, it doesn't even come close to the Toyota, IMHO!

I am pretty good with mechanical things, but am new to the "truck mods" circuit. I have already learned a lot from the posts I have searched, and am sure I will learn more. Hoping I will be able to contribute something useful as well.....

    Best Regards..

I just joined TW myself the other day...purchased my Tacoma about 2 weeks ago. I'm in Chapel Hill, NC, glad to see so many other NC folks. I've learned so much by reading on this site, ordered a bunch of stuff today from what I learned.

    WALCOME!

Salisbury here. Just go south on 85 for a while...when you pass a town too small for anyone to possibly give a shit about, that's us. Or Lexington.
