    Hello,
I have a 2002 Regular Cab Auto 2.4l Tacoma which I bought new in 2001. She has close to 90,000 miles and has been trouble free. I have replaced the battery, tires, and front disk brake pads.
The low mileage is because I also had a Dodge 2500 diesel 4x4 most of the time. I just sold the Dodge because I didn't need the extra power any more since I sold my big tractor and am downsizing in general.
Anyway, I am here for information on the newer Tacoma regular cab 4x4 along with my current Tacoma.

    Thanks for the welcome.

I had a John Deere 790 with loader.I still have a little JD 4100 and a Kubota BX23xx that the Tacoma will trailer just fine.

I have a summer cabin in the mountains of NC so might need a 4x4 Tacoma to replace my 4x2. I'll find out next month if my existing Tacoma will do the job there.

My wife had trouble getting up our steep driveway in her hybrid Highlander so traded it for a new Outback with the CVT. BTW, she is getting over 29 MPG now vs 27 MPG in the hybrid so is happy with the switch.
