    Hello all,

I've been lurking on these forums for a while and soaking up all the information on here as I researched what truck I was going to get. After reading up and some test drives, I've finally decided on a 2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4 double cab!

Now, I'm in no rush to get one right away and have the ability to wait a little while if need be. Ideally, I'm looking to get some incentives and was debating on waiting for a year end clearance sale. In your experiences, does Toyota (I live in the SE) offer any incentives on the Tacoma during a year end clearance? Doesn't seem like they need to in order to sell them so my wait may be futile, but every little bit helps. I tried to research past year end clearance sales but came up with nothing.

I could always wait for a 2017 as well.....

Do you only want something new (2016)? Guess you may find a rare unused 2015 out there.
Probably not, but if you do - grab it!!!

I was open to that but there doesn't seem to be any new 15s left in my area, which is fine, it's pretty late in the year for that and despite some of the issues being reported on the 16, I think I'd rather have it anyway.

Yeah I bet they are rare everywhere. You will get the good and the bad reading up on the 3rd gen through TW.
My advice about shopping is that: it's your money, the dealer will do anything to get it. Set the price you will feel comfortable with before hand. Try the end of the months when they are a bit of a panic to fill quotas.
You will find what you want.
Be sure to post up some pics of what you get.
    Good luck.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Make the best deal you can on a truck that is on the lot or that nobody wants. The Rat Bastard I call it.

Thanks all. Luckily I'm guaranteed dealer invoice through a program with my employer so not much haggling there, all the dealerships I've spoke with will honor it no questions asked (and thanks to the information here I know what the invoice price is so they're not going to pull anything on me, so far they haven't). Really just debating on whether or not to hold and see if Toyota offers any year end clearance incentives.

    Welcome, you'll love the truck!

I doubt you will find a great deal. Tacoma's fly off the lot on their own. They rarely offer any incentives such as rebates or 0% APR etc etc (at least around here). It took a couple hours of negotiating to get down about 3k from MSRP on my 2015, even though the 16's were coming out in just 6 months!

No matter what, you'll love this truck!
