    Hello Tacoma community,
My 2004 V6 TRD, bought used in 2016 with 175,000 miles on it, gave me very little trouble for 13,000 miles until this past summer. I use it as an island truck off the coast of Maine so salt, fog and periods of inactivity may well be the source of some of the problems I'm having with the frame and transmission. I'm always impressed with the knowledge and guidance one can find on forums like this one and I look forward to posting information and questions about my truck which may help me and others keep the costs down and the wheels rolling on our aging Tacomas.
    Thanks,
    kmac23
