97K then I start getting a shudder NOT a vibration (there is a difference) think of holding a machine gun then firing off a round or driving over warning bumps that is shudder. Took to Toyota dealer and they have already updated the TSB,... Mechanic deemed converter shutter recommends replace converter trying to get Toyota to warranty since I am a Toy faithful I will keep you posted hopefully change converter add WC Toyota fluid with maybe some DR Tranny shudder fix idk we will see

My '16 4x4 sport is currently at the dealership getting the torque converter changed. I was still under the original 6/60 thankfully. Looks like a couple other Toyota models had a warranty extension for similar issues.

If Toyota doesn't fix it I've used the DR Tranny Shudder in the past and it worked. I had a 5.0 Explorer that got shudder at 50K miles. I add that and it instantly went away. Ended up replacing all of the fluid shortly there after and again every 50K miles. Sold the truck with 200K miles and the trans will still perfect.
