What a difference a few hours can make, I didn't get him to budge much more but I did decide to go ahead and make the deal - however it isn't a done deal yet as they are going to have to call the dealership tomorrow that has the truck and see if they can work out a trade for it. He says it is up in the air as he has seen some dealerships be cooperative and others won't trade/send trucks for anything.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, I really want this one!

I just bought a double cab off road for 24,500 after military rebate. The adapter was in my glove box.

I also used that and it helped A LOT! I got my 2010 AC 4x4 SR5 w/ tow for $26,289 out the door with taxes (6%), registration, and tags.

Also, you could try out Consumer Report's car buying guide. It's got some good tips and some of the same info as truecar.com but it's $14. I think it was worth it.

    Looking!
That's true. Our '10 Access Cab rear windows (on the doors) do not open.

Thanks for all the feedback, the dealership is still trying to work on getting the truck to their location. It is the only one in the Southeast with the color/options I am looking for...

I think the fact that it is the only one in the entire Southeast (Southeast Toyota covers 5 states or so) really hindered my negotiating power...
