Hey there ! Thought I'd give a quick introduction. My real name is Bill. I'm a 63 year old (Ex) motocrosser who got all kinds of jacked up in a crash in 2020. So long story short my motocross days are behind me and I now own a 3rd gen Tacoma (2017) that's 100% stock. I've had it out a few times now and am looking to get it (Not so stock) lol. The first goals are to get it on 33's without rubbing, (Lift vs suspension vs both ?) underbody protection, onboard air system, and fix the irritating throttle lag. Figured I'd start surfing through the different topics in here and see what I can learn. Anyway that's me. Thanks !

Well, if you like putting all of your money into your truck forever, you've come to the right place! You'll certainly be able to find the answers you're looking for in the 3rd gen forum. There are some tuning options to fix the throttle lag, and I'm fairly certain squeezing 33s under there without rub will take very minimal effort (but don't ask me how... lol)

I kept my dual sport to do some trail riding but not sure I'll be lining up to race again. Never say never but for now the mx budget has turned into the Tacoma budget lol.
