Howdy y'all, long lurker but new member. Looking for some thoughts as I dig thru the many excellent posts on buyers guides, mods, things to look for, etc.

I'm looking to get a rig soon (tomorrow even), 1st gen hopefully, for nomadic living (seasonal jobs) and expedition builds. Found this one I may check out tomorrow, far drive away tho so I can't check out in person and decide.

2004 AC 4x4 6cyl 5spd, 134k, clean record with good maintenance according to seller. Custom popup overcab as well as the classic platform/storage in the cab. Super clean inside from the pictures, miles pretty low comparably (under 150).

Only have a few pics of undercarriage, hard to tell (https://imgur.com/SDZO1KA https://imgur.com/iZ0y2t8 https://imgur.com/NkS1FY3).

Do Toyota dealerships still check out/test frames and replace them on these old models? (I looked into the recalls and know some 1st gens have frame rust but don't know if there is a cutoff date for replacement)

    Cheers!

Welcome to TW....The cutoff date on most of the frame recalls is 15 years from year it was made.
