I bought this 1995.5 Tacoma, 4x4 2.7 liter, about a month ago and love it! It's my new adventure tuck! I love to go hiking and there are a lot of trails here in Arizona that need a high clearance vehicle. I'm getting new rims and tires tomorrow. The engine and transmission was rebuilt two years ago, according to the paper work the seller provided. Just replaced the cv joints, rack and pinion, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hose's, also cleaned the MAF and throttle body. My next project is the upper and lower ball joints. The guy said it wasn't lifted but it seems higher than a stock Tacoma. I looked under the truck and didn't see any spacers for the body or suspension. What could he have done to make it look lifted, if at all? It has Tokico shocks all around, are those good shocks? The ride seems bumpy, I can feel every imperfection in the road. How can I fix that? Any help would be appreciated, David.
