Just wanted to introduce myself and say "hi". I recently bought a white 2010 DCLB TRD Sport - actually my dad test drove it and bought it since it was near him and I'm flying to pick it up this weekend.

It has 188k but looks to be in pretty good overall condition and relatively stock other than:
    • Owner said it has a 3"/1.5" lift. My dad took some pics so I can confirm there's a spacer in front and back. Springs in the rear look new too (maybe TSB springs?)
    • Has some 285-75-17 tires and 17x8 wheels
    • Has a cheaper tonneau cover but I saw decent reviews here on TW
    • Windows appear to be tinted very dark

    So far I'm thinking:
    • I'm really digging the stance of the Baja / TX Pro trucks so I'm thinking about trying to achieve the same basic lift by using 3rd gen TRD OR suspension + small spacer in front and perhaps AAL in the rear.
    • These wheels/tires weigh 90lbs per corner, so I'm looking to replace them with TRD beadlocks + 265-75-16 K02's or Wildpeaks.
    • Remove tint and replace with lighter ceramic tint.

I appreciate any feedback, lessons learned, suggestions...etc. I've been looking for this truck for months and trying to do as much research as I can but I'm definitely still a noob. Truck will be primarily used for camping trips and general truck type duties (hauling wood/dirt/gravel for home projects, picking up car parts, possibly even towing my track car).

    Thanks!
