    Hey everyone! Just figured I'd finally make an account and post here. I'd been wanting a Tacoma as a kid since the 2nd gen came out (perfect size for me) in 2005 with the Speedway Blue color. Of course I didn't have any money, and once I did, I couldn't justify spending the amount that I eventually did on one.

    Lo and behold, I ordered myself a 2017 4X4 TRD OR DCSB in April 2017 after years of waiting, saving, and hoping that a new blue color would come out after they discontinued it on the 2nd gen. I also had some other....convincing...events in my previous truck that made me finally make the leap.

    Some light "mods" I've done after receiving the truck (some with the help of these forums):
    • Installed VW floor mat anchors on the front passenger side factory all weather floormat
    • Plastidipped the grille insert black
    • OEM mudflaps. Thought the 2nd gen ORs included these but I guess they don't anymore on the 3rd
    • Had Toyota fix the right front speaker grille crackling sound in cold weather
    It's done me really well so far, and I'm coming up on a year old and 10K miles as of this post. Here's some pictures of what I like doing in it, enjoy!
