Hey ladies and gents. Been a reader of the forums here for a while. Hope to become a new Tacoma owner.

I test drove a new 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport with the manual transmission over the weekend, and I really like the truck. I was all set to purchase it. My girlfriend, however, said that there was too much noise or vibration coming up through the seats. She was exasperated about the vibration she was feeling, and said she wouldn't go anywhere with me with it feeling like that. We both test drove a couple automatic transmission trucks, and while I didn't care for them, she liked them both (smooth ride, etc.). We test drove the first truck again with the salesman sitting in the front seat, and he said he couldn't feel it. My girlfriend was sitting in the back and was saying she could feel it the whole time.

I've decided the the 4x4 V6 TRD Sport is really the truck for me. The vibration seemed like a deal breaker. (Note, I didn't feel it myself -- the truck seemed fine!) I'm wondering if you guys think it's worthwhile to keep test driving trucks with her, or whether this vibration she's feeling is normal in the 2015 trucks? Wondering if another one won't have this supposed problem. I thought I read somewhere it was a problem in the past, and even then perhaps only in certain gears/speeds, etc. The other thing I'm wonder is is maybe just getting it anyway and perhaps down the road she'll learn to get used to it. Any advice or knowledge you can give me? Thanks guys

I have never heard of vibrations being so bad that they deter someone from buying a truck. What vehicles do you and her drive. It might just take getting used to it. I drove big heavy trucks/SUV before my Tacoma. The rear end feels so much lighter and it feels like it gets some air when hitting the occasional bump. That might be what she feels

If you are driving alone in a Tacoma, you can see that the passanger seat vibrates from time to time........it looks like if you were on washboard roads.

    Good luck man.
