Hey everyone! New member here just wanted to say hi and give some info on me and my new truck! My name is Rob and i live in Corpus Christi, TX. I just got a 2006 Tacoma Prerunner DCLB in Desert Tan. It was given to me from a family member who didn't want it anymore, and i have always loved Tacomas so this will be a new adventure for me. it has 145k miles on it, (any info on what i should do to properly maintain it, like fluid flushes and tune-ups to keep is running properly would be greatly appreciated) it needs some exterior work to get it looking pretty again but i can do that over time but the interior and engine/transmission seem to working great and purring like a kitten. i would like to keep this truck until i can move up into a newer 4x4 Tacoma in a few years.

That being said the mods i would like to do would be a headunit cause radio doesnt work, new tint, moderate lift (because not 4x4, and will mostly only see beach and small off-roading when going to our ranch), afe drop in filter, plastidip the grill or get a mesh grill, add some light bars on the front and back, bigger tires, debadge, remove steps and mudflaps, new bumpers (stock or steel?), floor mats, led interior, good seatcovers, new headlights and taillights.

Any advice on best ways to take care of the taco and best mods would be greatly appreciated, I really hope to get to know y'all better and i love looking at all your builds and mods.

Welcome to TW! A hair dryer/heat gun (on lower heat) and some goo gone ( https://amzn.to/2Cctasb ) should take that leftover adhesive off.
