I get about 250 a tank with 265's. With 285's, I was getting about 350. How the hell did I drop 100 miles per tank?

    Good to know! Thanks.

(yes. I'm sure it was in the manual, blah).

I was actually going to get the Pyrite Mica, and the dealership said it was going to take a while, it would have to be ordered from the factory. But they had one on the lot that was an exact match other than the color. My work assignment almost required a 4WD, and I was driving a Corolla, so I was short on options, I took the black one. This will probably be my last black vehicle. Last summer it got some fluid with lye all over it at work, and I had to have it buffed out. It still has some spots. But... oh well. Now I learned my lesson. Thinking about getting it repainted but the paint isn't so bad that I can justify it to myself yet.

    I'm getting a solid 20 mpg's from my 2010 DC 4x4. I usually fill up at about 17-18 gallons...and I get 350 +/- miles from that. I don't drive interstate. And I use it like a truck.

Truck is stock w/ 20K miles on Dunlap's.

btw, I'm pretty sure the Pyrite Mica trucks get the best fuel mileage. :D

lol wouldn't know it from mine...

I know that feel about stuff getting on a black vehicle. 3k miles into owning the audi some acidic tree sap ate through the clear coat and into the paint. It couldn;t be wet-sanded out, so I filed a comprehensive claim and had the entire car repainted for $100 deductible.

I have the auto transmission btw.

Have you looked at the "Ethanol Free" smartphone app? It lets you know where the hidden oasis' of good gas are at.

Welcome to TW. Nice truck, sweet color too. Maybe I'm just lucky but I'm getting about 200 miles (325 kms) every 1/2 tank, mostly city driving. I thought that was pretty good for a new 4x4. I do take it easy, especially during the break-in period so maybe that's the secret.
