    Yep. Not a taco unfortunately.

I really wanted a taco, trust me.

Back when I was changing vehicles at the beginning of 2020 I drove a lot of them.

I also knew virtually nothing when it came to upgrades and mods and what it all meant.

I did know there was a lot of aftermarket mods available for toyota trucks and that's about it. But I didn't know they had solid rear and IFS in the front.. I didn't even know what that meant and how it affects the vehicle.. I didn't know that's why jeeps seem so capable off-road.. and also why jeeps are so uncomfortable on road :) I just didn't know..

When I drove tacos, I just couldn't get past the driving position. I was disappointed, but I know myself well enough to know that driving position and seat comfort is a major priority for me when it comes to vehicles.. I've literally gotten rid of vehicles because of that in the past.

So I ended up with a 4runner.. which I love, and more importantly so does my wife :)

Little did I know that (of course!) there's an aftermarket mod for the driving/seat in the tacos. Seat jackers are awesome. Of course, I have them in the 4runner now and they make it supremely comfortable.

I've also spent a lot of time in jeeps since getting the 4runner and love them off-road.. but man.. I could never buy one because the highway driving really sucks in my opinion.

We changed trucks back in 2020 for remote camping reasons and as some of you know more than half the time you're on highways just getting close to your destination.. at least here in CA you are anyways.

So.. a comfortable truck was a priority for us. For all these reasons I am very content with the 4runner..

But I still love the taco.

I drool a little every time I see a one that's been modded well.

You all have a great truck. Enjoy it.

Welcome. We like 4Runners here. I will be looking at one when I replace my current Tacoma. I don’t know which way I’ll go yet.
