That's funny. I don't understand why someone would buy a four litre. V8 gas mileage with a bit more power than a 2.7. I would buy a Tundra instead of a 4.0 Tacoma.

As of lately, my last mpg avg was slightly under 21 mpg. I usually average about 23. This is on 93 octane. I need to get a cover for the bed, I heard that will help my mpg.

Nope. Its False. Although it DOES have less specific energy, and a slower flame front, it wont hurt anything running it in the Tacoma. In fact, in the 1GR, it seems to allow for a bit more power and torque.

Not necessarily according to Mythbusters testing, but I curious about other results. I use a tonneau but just for keeping things dry.

Cevaes you truck looks good. I like those side steps. How much were they shipped? Let me know how many mpg you average with that cover.

Where in Tampa are you located? I'm in the south, Riverview/Brandon area.

gt4som actually i live in Ruskin but work in Tampa. i also have bussiness in riverview, so we might`ve seen each other without knowing =).

I got those for 188 shipped and took me like 15 minutes to install them it was pretty simple. I havent got the fog lights yet but as soon as I get them will post pictures.

Today I installed my chrome handles for all doors and tinted my rear windows but i did 5% and on top of the factory tint it came out like 0% im affraid to get pulled over =(.

Now I only need a set of bigger wheels and a touchscreen in my dash and that will be it for me! :D:D

I found the rims on criag list for 300 dollars off a 2011 tacoma he had 2000 miles on them they looked brand new. For the fog lights. The 4cyl toyota did not have any plug and play wires, but the fog lights I found on ebay came with all the wires, relay, swicth, and info you need. They are not HID. The audio system from Crutchfield with all the info you need to drop it in your truck. I paid a litttle more but you save when you install it yourself that was A little harder to install. Just take your time and have a few beers.

The audio system was harder. The switch fit right in next to the other push buttons. The push button looks like factory, well it looks a little different. It looks good
