New Member... remote issues

    2017 4x4 Grey Tacoma Access cab
    Absolutely love my 17 SR5 Access cab. Worth every dime. Problem is, it only came with one remote/key, and as usual, the dealers want big $ to supply new one with programming etc. I have looked on Amazon, and they have the remotes (without programming), but what about the ignition key? Can I just get one cut matching mine? I looked on this forum, but did not find any around this year..
    Lots of different options online, would love to hear from someone who has dealt successfully with this issue.

    Welcome to TW...You can get a key cut which will open the door but it won’t start your truck. I believe Toyota is the only one who can program an ignition key at least that was my experience with my last Tacoma,the one I have now came with 2.
