Hi all - I have a 2008 2.7 5 speed, no modifications as far as I can see - with original size tires. The first thing I noticed was that the speedometer read about 10% faster than I was going, verified with a GPS. I purchased the Hypertech Calibrator, updated the software and programmed to my truck, installed it and my speedometer would not work. Defective unit? Ordered another one, same results.
Contacted their tech support by email, they pretty much copied and pasted what I had done as their response. Their only other recommendation was to call their support people or return the unit. Called three times and was transferred to someone's voice mail.
Has anyone seen this issue? Do you know if their product will work with a standard?
My only alternatives besides living with it, are to install 285/75/16 tires or try the Dakota Universal Speedometer and Tachometer Interface.
    Thanks everyone.

Dakota digital is working well for me. I have an automatic but not sure that should matter. The speedo wires go straight from the transfer case to the speedometer

Welcome aboard. Sorry to hear of your issues. I have never heard of this problem, but I am running the hypertech on my ‘09 5speed 2.7L and it has been working on my truck. Hopefully you’re able to get this sorted soon
