    Hi guys,

Just joined the forum! I had a question about tires for my 2008 Tacoma double cab with 4WD and off road package. I currently am running the Michelin M/S 2s and they have been great, however I was thinking I might want a bit more aggressive tread pattern on my next set (for looks and because I want to off road once I find a good place in San Diego). The ones that intrigued me were the Goodyear duratec tires, however I am open to suggestions from you guys since I am not the most informed. I do not want to sacrifice too much milage or ride quality (noise) by going too aggressive with the tire. Tire size is 265/70/16! Thanks everyone for the help I am really torn!

not gonna find alot of agressive mud tires in that size. may need to look at a 265/75/16 to get some better choices. nitto trail grappler smallest size in a 16 is a 265/75/16 then to a 285/70/16.

Hmm interesting thanks guys. As I said I don't want it to be too aggressive of a tire because car is used mostly on street, just somewhat. And now for a dumb question... Will 265/75/16 fit on my rim and my car? I have the stock wheels and I have the double cab 4WD

I would reccomend Hankook Dynapro ATm. I have them and they are great. Not too much road noise, gas mileage is no different then with the stock tires. They look great and last a long time, check review here on TW.

265/75/16 will fit fine. Same width and 1" taller.

don't have photos up yet, but I love the Goodyear Wranglers. Have em on my 08 access. Great on the road, better off it.
