Hi there. I'm a owner of a 2010 F150 Super Crew XLT 4X4. I had 13,000 problem free miles until the engine died the first time (under warranty) and again at 19,000 miles (out of warranty). I have been battling with the dealership and they have informed that the long block needs to be replaced (variable time system / cam phasers).

Point being, when I do crest this wave, I'm GOING to get a Tacoma! Had a 4Runner before the 150 that ran like a top... Must have fell for the Mike Rowe commercials!

I like want to get a 2015 Tacoma rather than the 2016. Call me crazy but I like the proven 2nd generation platform and want to go with what works. How late do you think I can wait to purchase a 2015 before they are gone?

Are you trying to buy new? If so, your options will be limited. If you're looking for something specific, I'd recommend buying a used 2015 off someone on here who's looking to upgrade to the 2016. You could get a pretty fair price.
