Like to say hello and how happy I am to find this site with tons of information on Toyota trucks.
Bought my first Tacoma over a year ago, (a left over 06 4x4 with manual transmission) but just discovered this site by accident while googling for the fix for my "Needs service light." Called the dealer the first couple of times, but just forgot how to do it, so here I am.
Change my own oil, and have already switched to mobil one. Only have 10,000 miles on my Tocoma currently because I ride my Triumph Speed Triple to work most of the time.
Only issue I have is it seem when there is a lot of moisture in the air the clutch is grabby until it is driven for a while, of course the dealer says it is normal.......LOL......
Otherwise it is perfect and I am a happy camper. The truck is white, so I call it Casper.

and i have an automatic, but maybe to take care of the grabby clutch, you may consider switching it over to synthetic.....may make the grabbiness go away rather decently. hope this helps.

The clutches are a dry clutch, however the transmission does requires lubricant. Changing the transmission oil, to a synthetic is not a bad idea, but won't have an affect on my clutch.
It isn't really that big a deal, as it is only noticed if it sets for a few days in a high humidity situation. (like right now in Missouri)
Might do a search tonight and see if anyone else has noticed this.
Just another note, I added the Toyota bed devider a while back. Anyone have one of these? What a great idea, best device I have seen for a truck bed. Oh, and I got the Toyota cargo net too.
I'm ready to haul some.....................stuff now! LOL

Oh, yea the FZ-6 is a really cool bike. I had 2 (an 02 and a 05) Yamaha FZ-1's before buying the Triumph.

Welcome to TW, you have two damn good rides in the garage, that speed triple is some kind of NASTY !

 

Yea, I am real thrilled with the Speed Triple. It is a white 07 with Triumphs TOR exhaust and tune.
Ride it 90% of the time to work, even thru Missouri winters and thats why my 06 Tacoma has only 9,000 miles.
Tacoma is White also so I guess there is some kind of theme going.
