just bought a 2010 Tacoma v-6 auto access cab 4x4. so far loving the truck. was wanting to know if anyone has done any engine mods to boost a little power or more importantly get better fuel mileage with there truck. things like spark plugs, exhaust, air filter, computer programmer, etc....
    thanks

Installed Cooper At/3's (265/70R16) and ProComp 7089 Rims. Tinted front windows. Did the Fog Light Anytime mod. Did the tailgate mod. Added running boards. Adding sound Deadening from RAAMaudio. Replacing stock speakers with Polk Audio DB6501's.
Welcome to TW. Best engine mod you can make is a light foot.

spark plugs need to be changed every 30k. Exhaust sounds cool and intake lets in too much dirt IMO. No bolt ons are really worth it

Headers are the only thing that will produce power you can feel. Unless you go forced induction.

No bolt-ons for N/A, huh? How would you like to explain ~50 - 60+ whp gains and ~50 - 60+ wtq gains? o_O

Good tuning will help out tremendously with a "responsible" foot.

Hmm i stand corrected, but for a truck that goes offroad i still stand by oem intake /filter so not sure how well the other mods would do with that.
