    Hello everyone. I thought I would introduce myself. Last week I picked up a new 21 TRD Sport Premium double cab long box 4x4 Tacoma in midnight black metallic. This is my first Toyota and my first truck other than my dad always had trucks when I was growing up (always Dodge).
    I'm a car enthusiast and a Subaru Ambassador. My last 8 vehicles have all be Subaru (2 WRX, a FXT, OBXT, Outback, Legacy, and a Crosstrek) I still have a 19 Outback and will probably always have a Subaru, but I'm excited to join the Tacoma family and to have a truck.
    I loved my WRX, but found myself needing to haul more than the Outback was capable of with yard work, home improvement projects, and hobbies.
    My truck came with a tonneau cover, mud flaps, floor liners, and Predator side steps. I have a rubber bed mat, remote lock for the tailgate, bed step, mini hooks, and bed lights all being delivered today. I still want to get window deflectors and I need to apply some paint protection. I have applied CQUARTZ UK to my last few vehicles and am likely going to apply a coating, but might try some PPF for the front.
    I'm looking forward to learning and getting to know the community more.

    Over the last two days I have installed:
    OEM bed mat
    OEM bed lights
    OEM mini rail hooks
    OEM bumper step
    OEM remote tailgate lock
    I spoke with the dealer yesterday and was hoping they would pay to have the scratches they put in the truck polished by a detailer of my choice, but they refused saying they had a body shop. Not sure if I'll make the 2 hour drive or just do it myself. I do want to get it done ASAP so I can get some paint protection installed. I'm thinking about giving a DIY PPF kit a try and then will likely apply a ceramic coating as well.
