    Thank you.

There seems to be a better selection in the US. Trying to figure out options and selections available.

    :)

Been there & done that. It's not easy to find a used Tacoma around here. And if you do, you'll be paying what the seller wants and not what you want. The resale value or asking price is unbelievable. Just check Auto Trader and you'll know what I'm talking about. After looking for many months, I decided to buy a new one since it just made the most sense.

If you still insist on used, try www.leasebusters.com. To my surprise, there are many Tacoma's listed. These sellers are somewhat desperate to get out of their lease and will negotiate with you. Let me know how it goes. If you need further assistance, just ask.

    Cheers.

Your not kidding!. I've looked through lease busters ( Canada ) and couldn't fine a single vehicle!

I found a dealer that has a used '05 Tacoma 4 door, air, TR7, loaded with 97000 km for $28000!.

Gererally views for this truck are all in the mid to high 20K mark.

Go with the new Tacoma. You can finance for longer, your note will be lower and right now you can get a great deal because the dealers are clearing out for 08 to start arriving. I did the same thing and just recently bought an 07 4 door TRD Off Road with towing upgrade for just a few thousand more than most used trucks that I found.

as high as the resale value is on these trucks, it makes more sense to buy new than used. I was gonna buy used until i realized how expensive they are. even the 1st gens are over 20k if you want low miles

Looks like a Texas truck to me. I'd be worried, if I were you. Ask any Alliance member.

I didn't get it. Too much trouble and I needed a Michigan address as well so I ended up buying a used 2005 Tacoma 4x4 TR with the upgraded package for $22 000 Canadian + my trade of my 2000 Ford F-150 255 000 km.

Took me a long while to find a standard but finally got it - didn't want an automatic. Very happy with the purchase since a new one in Canada would of cost me an additional $20 000.

43 000 km on it as well.

So now I feel like I belong here ;)

PS. Wish they made a diesal version!!!
