    Greetings from Houston, Texas

Just a quick introduction. I have a 1999 PreRunner Extended cab V6. My first and only new vehicle. I was seriously thinking of getting a Tundra this year, but my truck runs so well still, I hate to part with it. Now I have decided that since I am keeping it, I should update a few things. I have 173K miles and have used Mobil 1 since about 500 miles.

A few things that I would like to address:

I had a fender bender a few years back and now the left front headlight is aimed a bit low.

The driver seat is worn on the left side where I slide in and out of the truck.

I have replaced the rotors once and pads a few times, but the breaks don't grab well when they get hot from being in traffic. I need to figure out a good rotor/pad combination. I do not have antilock breaks.

My paint is starting to fade a bit. My garage (studio) gets used for other purposes, so my truck has sat outside for the last 8 years.

I need to upgrade to a Bluetooth compatible radio that doesn't require surgery to the dashboard.

I'm in a couple of other forums for my other interests, so I will use the search feature before I start firing off silly questions.

Thanks to the admins for approving my membership so quickly.
