Hi folks, I just purchased a used 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 with just over 122K miles on the clock. I have been looking for a truck for the past few months and was lucky enough to find this one locally at a used car stealership.
I am a recently retired fella and I enjoy most anything that moves under it's own power. I have a 2007 Honda ST1300 for motorcycle riding and I'm looking for a small boat for fishing, something that will fit in the back of the Taco or on a small trailer.
I also enjoy flying RC aircraft, helicopters, quads, bi-planes, and also RC sail boats.
I spent 20 years in the Air Force and had a tour in Vietnam back in 1970 at DaNang AB.
I do have a question for you mechanics out there, my AC switch is missing the push-button part. I just ordered a new switch and was curious how easy/difficult it is to replace this switch. From what I have found so far it looks like you remove the knobs and lever handles, pull off the trim piece and just pull out the switch? If not can someone give a little advise?

Thanks in advance for any guidance, and I hope to see some of you here in Nashville, Tennessee.

    Gary
